Mahjong the game
The game of Mahjong originated in China. It is also called Majiang or Maa Chuk. Nowadays there are lots of ways to spell the word, like; Mah-jongg, Mahjongg, mah-jong, Majong or Mah Jong, there is no one way to spell it. The objective of the game is to discard the tiles from the field as soon as possible. This is done by making combinations of tiles, called melds. Examples of combinations are a chow: three suited tiles in sequence, a pair: two identical tiles, a pung: a set of three identical tiles, or a Kong: a set of four identical tiles.
